Ievgeniia is a painter born in Kyiv, Ukraine and working and living in Tkaronto/Toronto. Studying at OCAD University in the Drawing and Painting program, she mainly works with oil paint and encaustics. Cherednikova has participated in group exhibitions exploring mental health and Indigenous worldviews. Her recent work include a fundraiser for mental health, volunteering for a Peruvian artist Olinda Silvano for an Indigenous mural and the Iranian “Women Life Freedom” exhibition at Ocad University. She is planning to participate in “Brain on Art” exhibition for mental health, support more human rights initiatives and utilize her Ukrainian heritage. Cherednikova is planning to delve deeper into her Ukrainian heritage, mysticism and landscape research and further explore the materials and media of painting to create change.
